The annual knockout competitions at Clacton on Sea Golf Club have now all been completed.
The winner of the men’s Kingsman Cup was James Wright & Matthew Morgan was runner-up. In the John Gascoigne Plate Craig Bruce & Warren Lee were the winners and runners-up were Paul Howard-King & Lee Smith. Nick Tedder-Ward won the Davies Cup and Karl Fenton was runner-up. The Morton Lucas Trophy was won by Bob Hanks & James Hanks, runners up were Craig Bruce & George McGowan. The Pybus Cup was won by Ryan Munden & Jamie Martin, runners-up were Steve Scott & Robert Gage.

In the ladies section the Gardiner Salver winner was Helen Chung, runner-up Sonja Strutt. The Jessie Miller Bowl was won by Terry Whiting and the runner-up was Anne Tyler. The High/Low Lady Captains Knockout Foursomes was won by Lady Captain Emma Cole & Jackie Bright and the runners-up were Brenda Lord & Pam Richmond.

The mixed Hulton Cup was won by Lady Captain Emma Cole & Club Captain Gary Dymond. The runners-up were Julia Rockell & Craig Day.

The ladies played their Medal 7. Diana Kedge was 1st with 105-36=69.
Emma Cole second with 97-27=70 & Liz Strutt third with 90-18=72. The Ida Bunting Trophy, played alongside the medal was won by Sonja Strutt 97-18=79 on countback from Fiona Cope 98-19=79

Janine Wyman travelled to Brentwood Golf Club to play in the Essex Windfall Final scoring 27 points and enjoying her game on the extremely tricky course.

The ladies Coastal Belles team played their annual match away at Frinton.
Frinton won the trophy, making good us of their home advantage to battle the strong winds, with  Clacton finishing in 2nd  place. The Nearest the Pin was won by Paula Smith.

Charlie Heffer won the Juniors October Medal with 82-9=73 on countback from Max Heffer 89-14=73. Charlie Beasley was third with 87-12=75.

Alfie Barns won Division One of the October Medal with 76-5=71 on countback from Paul Atkinson 80-9=71. Division 2 was won by Bobby Davidson 86-19=67  and 2nd was Karl Fenton 72-13=69. Division 3 winner was Fiona Cope 90-20=70 and in 2nd place was Steve James 95-21=74.

The Lifeboat Cup was won by Danny Thomas on countback with 77-8=69 from Alfie Barns 74-5=69 and Dale Garrad 82-13=69.

The Seniors played their last interclub match of the season at Ipswich. A very close and hard fought contest but unfortunately lost 5 - 3.  The overall score was 11-5 to  Clacton  which resulted in them winning the 2 Terry's Trophy, which was played for the first time.

The Seniors played the knockout round of their Winter Pairs competition. 1st place was Tom Cornwall & Mike Holley with 45 points, 2nd place Pete Smith & Richard Weeks with 44 points & 3rd Carl Ayres  & John Stuck with 42 points.
